The fish also has a transparent red glass eye. The pieces of glass are soldered together by using "the Tiffany technique" which involves wrapping and soldering the individual glass pieces together. There are substantial pieces of raw sheet copper that have been crafted into the top dorsal fin, the bottom pelivc fin, and the trailing caudal (tail) fin.
